Improvisation and Acting

Students will be trained in the art of Improvisation and create scenes based on narrative prompts and centered on specific themes. Students will draw on their own experiences and perspectives to create original stories. They will engage sound, body, gesture, and movement to create characters, express emotion, and design spontaneous dramatic plots. Each session will commence with drama games that build particular performative skills and culminate in the creation of theatrical scenes and sketches.
