Upcycled & Away Kites

Inspired by the Polynesian sky tales of Maui Snaring the Sun, students will explore personal flights of fancy along with water-based media, process art techniques, recyclables and eco-green materials. The resulting flight-ready kites are a joy for students to create in the classroom and to fly in the schoolyard and at home.
