Artist Inquiry

Interested in becoming a Young Audiences of Northern California (YANC) teaching artist? It all begins here! Please fill out the artist inquiry form below and a member of our programming staff will contact you. Inquiries are reviewed monthly. 

We review applicants on a rolling basis and cannot guarantee a spot on our roster. We consider the following when building our roster: art form, topic areas, experience, and applicability to our audience. Our teaching artist application process is as follows:

1.    TA (teaching artist) Inquiry Form submitted

2.    Staff will contact you directly to set up a brief conversation

3.    Qualified applicants complete TA application

4.    YANC staff reviews application

5.    First round interview with Director of Arts Education and Program Manager

6.    Second round interview with YANC Staff

7.    Observation of teaching artistry
