I’m humbled and honored to lead Young Audiences of Northern CA as we enter an exciting new chapter, grounded in four strategic focus areas:

Building on past leadership to grow funding, partnerships, and capacity

Creating teaching artists pathways for leadership advancement 

Crafting a long-range plan to deepen organizational Impact and Sustainability

Bringing Our Impact to Life Through Storytelling: Centering youth voice

Leadership is a practice, not just a position of authority; it is an evolving discipline. In my practice, I apply an artist’s lens to drive collaborative innovation and meaningful impact. My approach is grounded in: competency, creativity, reflection, community engagement, and adaptability. My leadership is guided by the Ubuntu philosophy — “I am because we are” — I lead to elevate individual gifts in service of the collective gift, changing the lives of Bay Area youth through the transformative power of the arts.
