Daron Stewart

First introduced to the arts by his older brother...and through the integration of faith and the arts, Daron has since performed across the United States and abroad. His credits include national and independent film work, television hosting, VOG at The Kennedy Center, and numerous stage performances. His accolades include an award for “Best Supporting Actor” for his portrayal of Cory in Charlotte Theatre’s production of August Wilson's play Fences. Daron is perhaps best known for his command performance as Langston Hughes in the one-man stage play, Soul of Langston. This play, written and performed by Daron, has been staged nationally for festivals, schools, colleges and universities, churches and conferences. In addition to the play Daron also conducts an artist residency program that partners academic content with the arts.
